- How do you define a new page?
- We consider a new page any page where the layout or even the content is quite different from the initial page.
- Is your code standards compliant?
- Yes, we only code using W3C XHTML and CSS standards. Rest assured the code you will receive will validate XHTML and CSS.
- What browsers do you test in?
We test the pages in the following browsers on PC platforms:
- Mozilla Firefox 3, 3.6
- Microsft Internet Explorer 7, 8
- Apple Safari 4
- Google Chrome 5
- Opera 10.51
We also test the pages in the following browsers on Mac platforms:
- Mozilla Firefox 3.6
- Apple Safari 4
We don't offer support for Internet Explorer 6 by default, due to its age and poor capabilities. If you need support for it, we'll do our best to make your project compatible with it, but we'll charge an additional fee for that.
- Do you code any JavaScript effects?
- We can code the JavaScript code you need for the designs. Our prices usually include the JavaScript effects for at least 1 type of sub-menu, 1 slideshow gallery and any other small effects. For more or larger Javascript interactions, we'll inform after your project is reviewed how much we'll charge extra for the JavaScript code you ask.
- Do you integrate any custom fonts?
- We can integrate custom fonts used in your designs, via various methods like sIFR, Cufon, or even the modern @font-face CSS method. For that we will need the custom fonts files in a TrueType or OpenType format (not Mac format).
- What happens if I have need any changes/comments to the code I receive?
- We are happy to help with any further changes/comments you will need on your pages. The delivery time does not include any modifications. If the changes you request affect the layout of the pages and differs too much from the original layout, we will charge you an additional fee.
Files
- What files should I provide you?
- We prefer a Photoshop PSD source file of the layout, but we can manage also AI or multi-layered PNG.
- How can I provide you with various requirements I have for my pages?
- You can write them all in detail in the form when submitting the project. A more preffered way is to create notes on the design itself. Please mention details regarding any elements that might be misunderstood and coded in a different way than you require (i.e. Flash placeholders, expandable DIVs, drop-down menus).
- How do I include any drop-down menus or hover effects?
- It's best if you have these hover effects or drop-down menus on separate layers.
Payment
- How do I pay?
- You can pay through PayPal or 2Checkout.com (an authorized retailer of codingheads.com). All prices are listed in USD.
- When do I pay?
- If you're a new client, you will be required to pay a 50% deposit upfront. The delivery time of 3 business days starts from the moment you've made payment.
- If you a returning client, you will be able to pay the entire amount after we deliver your project. The delivery time of 3 business days starts from the moment we review your project and get in touch with you.
- Do you offer volume discounts?
- Yes, we offer volume discounts. If you have more than 15 pages, please contact us before placing an order.
- What's your refund policy?
- If you are really not satisfied with our work, we will refund all your money for that order. If we offer you a refund, we reserve the right to include your project in our portfolio. We haven't had any complaints until now though.
Privacy
- Will my pages be made public?
- We will ask you for each project if you will give us permission to publish your pages in our portfolio. We will respect your privacy whatever the answer may be.
- Will you keep a copy of my pages?
- We will keep a copy of some of the pages we work on, but not all of them. We recommend you keep your pages in a safe place once you've received them from us.
- Who will have rights over the code you send me?
- You will have all the rights over the files we send you (HTML, CSS, images).
General
- How fast can you deliver?
- We deliver your pages in up to 3 business days for orders with up to 3 pages. Usually we will deliver faster than 3 days for small orders. Larger orders will be delivered in more then 3 days, depending on size and complexity of the project.
- Do you offer support?
- We offer 1 year free support for the code we deliver. If you find any issues with the code within this period, we'll fix them for free.
- Can you create a template / theme I can use in Wordpress?
- Yes, we can create your pages as a Wordpress theme with multiple customizations.
- Can you create an email template?
- Yes, we can create email templates that are accessible in every email client.
- Do you also do design work?
- No, we don't do any design work. But we can recommend some designers for you, designers which we've worked with. Contact us if you need any referrals.
- Who are you and where are you from?
We're a team of web developers based across Europe, in Sweden, Romania and Spain.
